Dr. Dennis Brtva attended Illinois State University before entering the Illinois College of Optometry. He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Brtva has been practicing in Bloomington, IL for 19 years and in Peoria, IL for 16 years. He is a member of the Bloomington Regional Optometric Society, the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Brtva is a past president of the Bloomington Regional Optometric Society and served as President of the Illinois Optometric Association in 2010. Dr. Brtva is a leading Peoria eye doctor. Dr. Brtva has extensive experience in the evaluation and fitting of specialty or "hard to fit" contact lenses. He has had the opportunity to test many new contact lens designs before they've reached the market. Dr. Brtva is certified in the evaluation and management of Corneal Refractive Therapy contact lenses. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care and products to his patients.
